Earlier this month, our Managing Director James Thomson-Sakhrani talked about The Amber Foundation's mission to the Year 12 students of ESF Sha Tin College, as part of a presentation that included 15 different Hong Kong organisations covering a range of important local issues. The organisations addressed topics such as homelessness, challenges faced by ethnic minorities and refugees, menstrual health equality, the experiences of migrant workers and the elderly, modern-day slavery, and sustainability.
It was an honour to be part of this great initiative to share and discuss the diverse social and environmental challenges present in our community. We applaud ESF Sha Tin College's mission to help their students gain a deeper understanding of the work the various Hong Kong NGOs are doing to address these issues, and we look forward to seeing this reflected in the students' CAS (Creativity, Activity, Service) programme.
