Last week, we were honoured to be part of the Corporate-NGO networking event on 24 May that was co-organised by the Equal Opportunities Commission and Bloomberg. Our ExCo Members, Soundari Mukherjea and Felicity McRobb represented EMPOWER during the event, with Felicity being invited on the panel discussion on The D&I Impact of Successful Corporate-NGO Partnerships.
The event was extremely well-attended with over 100 in the room from both the NGO and the corporate sector. We thank the EOC and Bloomberg for organising the worthwhile event and the other panelists, Jessie Lee from Bloomberg, Sudesh Thevasenbathy from Manulife, and Annie Tang from Star Anise for the engaging conversation and quiz master Vivek Mahbubani who brought the room to life during the Trivia part of the event.
